Claudia
Yoga & Pranayama
Claudia is Belgian-Sardinian, with family roots in this part of north-eastern Sardinia, making ANIMA as much a return to familiar land as a retreat.
She grew up in a deeply religious environment, where ritual, spirituality and questions about meaning were part of everyday life. That early foundation eventually developed into a broader curiosity about how we connect. With ourselves, our bodies, other people and the world around us. Yoga became one of the places where she could explore those questions through direct experience.
Alongside that search, Claudia built a career in corporate marketing and communications, becoming very familiar with deadlines, ambition, full calendars and the general speed of the rat race. Years of kickboxing shaped the other side of her practice: physical, grounded and strong.
Her path has since taken her from yoga studios in Belgium to ashrams in India and retreat spaces in Sri Lanka, studying and teaching Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga alongside pranayama, meditation and philosophy. She has also trained in Reiki and different forms of bodywork.
Her teaching brings those worlds together: strength and softness, ancient philosophy and modern life, spirituality and a healthy amount of questioning. She is particularly interested in what happens when yoga leaves the mat and becomes a way of living, a way to understand the body and mind, work with the breath and navigate everyday life with more awareness.
ANIMA brings several parts of her own story together: her Sardinian roots, years of exploring yogic traditions, and a curiosity about what different cultures can teach us about living well.
